OHIO, USA — In the battle of the most popular corporate fast food giants, the Big Mac reigns supreme in the state of Ohio.
The sports betting website Betsperts conducted research to find out a number of factors related to the U.S. and fast food including:
- U.S states with the highest and lowest number of fast food restaurants
- Most popular fast food across the U.S. and world
- Countries with the most McDonalds restaurants
In that research, some interesting results for the state of Ohio were revealed compared to the rest of the country.
According to Betsperts, there are three fast food restaurants that are a cut above the rest. Starbucks racked up the most states when it comes to their favorite fast food location with 24 states. McDonald's was a close second with 22 states. Chick-fil-A came in at a distant third winning four states.
McDonald's took home the 20-piece crown for the state of Ohio according to data.

While Ohio residents have a special place in their hearts for "Mickey D's", the research reveals that Ohio is one of the top fast food loving states in the entire country. There are a total of 4.7 fast food restaurants per 10,000 people.
McDonald's has 13,257 stores throughout the U.S. with Ohio home to 616 locations.
