Just in time for the start of summer, Shake Shack is set to open its doors at the new Pinecrest in Orange Village on Thursday, June 7.
The location in Orange Village will be the franchise's first in the state of Ohio.
Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries and more.
A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.
The restaurant will tip its cap to its Northeast Ohio location with a selection of locally-inspired frozen custard concretes:
- Triple Ripple Buckeye: chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, Luna Bakery triple chocolate sea salt cookie and chocolate sprinkles
- Pie Oh My: vanilla custard and slice of bourbon pecan pie from Luna Bakery
- Hopscotch: vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, chocolate toffee and Mast Brothers Shake Shack dark chocolate chunks
Local breweries will be featured on the menu at Shake Shake as well. Platform Beer, Lager Heads, Royal Docks Brewing Co. and Kindred Brewing.
“As a native Clevelander, I could not be more excited to introduce Shake Shack to the amazing, expanding food scene here in the CLE,” said Dustin Dykstra, Senior General Manager of Shake Shack Pinecrest in a statement. “I’m confident our delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, shakes and more will satisfy the culinary curiosity of residents throughout northeast Ohio – and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few die-hards make the trip from Cincinnati and C-Bus for a shot at the Shack.”
As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, 5 percent of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete will benefit Cleveland Animal Protective League, helping animals in Northeast Ohio for more than 100 years.
Another Cleveland-area Shake Shack is also scheduled to open in 2019 in a development project dubbed nuCLEus in the city's downtown area.
