CLEVELAND — Editor's Note: The above video features an appearance by Al "Bubba" Baker and Bubba's-Q on 3News in 2016
Bubba's-Q is officially back on the menu in Northeast Ohio after nearly three years away.
Known for their authentic, southern-style BBQ, the original Bubba's-Q in Avon closed its doors in 2019 after more than 13 years in business.
The store was founded by former Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Al "Bubba" Baker. He found success after a slow start to his business following an appearance on the "Shark Tank" show in 2013. After appearing on the popular show, Bubba's-Q sales skyrocketed for a number of years.
2022 marks a new beginning for Bubba's-Q in the form of a food truck called "Bubba's-Q Two Food Truck." James Baker, son of Al "Bubba" Baker, is bringing the fan-favorite BBQ spot back to Northeast Ohio.
The menu will feature slow-smoked beef brisket, ribs, pulled pork and classic southern sides like mac n' cheese and baked beans.
The food truck will be made available for corporate caterings and private events.
For inquiries into renting the food truck for your events, contact James Baker at 216-804-0123 or email info@bubbasqtwo.com.
