CLEVELAND — The Stark County Fairgrounds are still closed and all in-person meetings have been canceled due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, that still won't stop people from having an opportunity to purchase their favorite fair foods, normally enjoyed at the Stark County Fair.
On Monday, the Stark County Fair encouraged the public to "come out and take a ride through the Fairgrounds where they will have several different food vendors set up selling delicious Fair Foods."
The announcement was made on their Facebook page.
While everyone must stay in their car, the Stark County Fair encouraged the public to drive through, pick out which food they would like and several food vendors will bring it to the vehicle.
Two vital announcements were also made in the Facebook post:
"No bathroom facilities available as everyone MUST stay in their vehicle!"
And...
"Per the Stark County Health Department, you must take your food home to consume. Congregating is not permitted. Please don't prevent a good thing from happening!!"
The Fairgrounds are appropriately calling this event the "Fair Food Drive Thru" and it will take place May 15-17 and May 22-25 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm.
