Ohio restaurant chain The Rail has announced the closing of its Canton and North Olmsted locations.
In a statement on its website, The Rail wrote:
"We have made the very difficult decision to close our Canton and North Olmsted locations. We are very grateful for the support our loyal guests have shown us at these locations over the years.
"Employees from Canton and North Olmsted have all been offered a transfer to nearby locations.
"Outstanding gift cards can be redeemed at any of our sister locations.
"We sincerely thank you for dining with us at these locations and hope to see you again soon at The Rail in Fairlawn, Dublin, or Strongsville."
While the restaurant's location in Dublin is now open, its Fairlawn and Strongsville locations will reopen in the coming weeks. According to its website, the dining and patio room at the Strongsville location will reopen on June 5, with the Fairlawn location set to reopen on June 10.
Curbside pickup is currently available at all three locations.
In March, bars and restaurants across Ohio were forced to close their dining rooms due to concerns regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, although delivery and carryout services were permitted to remain open. On May 15, outside dining was permitted to reopen in the state, with indoor dining reopening on May 21.
