CLEVELAND — Saucy Brew Works has announced they are bringing the Columbus-based Urban Meyer's Pint House to Cleveland.
Pint House will be located at the former location of the Winking Lizard in Cleveland's Gateway District.
The Winking Lizard permanently closed its location at 811 Huron Road in 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant was short on staff.
Pint House will be located near Progressive Field and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, giving Cleveland fans another place to visit.
“I think it’s multi-faceted starting with it’s the best billboard that exists in Cleveland,” Saucy Brew Works CEO Brent Zimmerman told 3News' partner Cleveland.com. “That corner of traffic comes together there. It’s three minutes’ walk to Guardians and Cavs and East 4th (Street).”
Urban Meyer's Pint House originated in Columbus, with the first location opening in Dublin in 2019.
According to Saucy Brew Works, the goal is to open Pint House in the summer of 2025.
