Though some of us are still recovering from the Fourth of July, the weekend is here, meaning it's time for some more fun.
Some areas are still celebrating July 4 with fireworks and festivities, while other events include craft beer tastings and some major sports watching.

Fairport Mardi Gras
What: The party continues this weekend in Fairport Harbor as an extension of the city's July 4 festivities. Saturday is Kids Day and Sunday is Veterans Day. The annual fireworks show is scheduled for Sunday at dusk. Learn more here.

Fairview Hospital Toy Run
What: The 23rd annual Fairview Hospital Toy Run benefits pediatric patients at the hospital. Members of the Lake Erie Harley-Davison Owners Group in Avon organize the 15-mile ride. Toy and cash donations are accepted. Learn more here.

Gardenwalk
What: Explore a series of local gardens in this free self-guided tour. See private and community gardens across Cleveland's neighborhoods over the course of two days. Start on the city's west side Saturday and venture east Sunday. Learn more here.

Ohio State Yo-Yo Contest
What: See the best yo-yoers from across the state as they compete for prizes and the title of the Ohio State YoYo Champion. The event is free to watch and all ages are welcome. Learn more here.

Larchmere Festival
What: The annual Larchmere Festival offers a collection of artists, vendors and music. The community event also features demonstrations and games, such as the Chess Challenge. Check out all the vendors, then stay for the live music. Learn more here.

Star-Spangled Spectacular
What: Cleveland's annual Star-Spangled Spectacular is the city's patriotic party in conjunction with the Fourth of July. This year's event will also honor the Cleveland Orchestra, which celebrates its 100th birthday this year. The festivities will be emceed by WKYC's own Russ Mitchell.

Taste on the Lake
What: The first ever Taste on the Lake event comes to Edgewater Park this weekend. The event is ideal for foodies and those hoping to sample some of Cleveland's best eateries, such as Merwin's Wharf and Fahrenheit. Tickets start at $20. Buy them here.

UFC 226
What: Cleveland's own Stipe Miocic will fight to defend his heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier on the main card. Area bars will be showing the fight, including the Galleria Winking Lizard. RSVP for a spot here.
