Welcome to March!

It's hard to believe February has come to an end but the closer we are to spring, the better.

Though this weekend's forecast remains chilly, there will still be plenty of activities to get you out of the house. From a pair of Mardi Gras themed bar crawls to a special dog's birthday party, check out our list of 10 things to do this weekend.

Bacardi Gras

What: Now in its fourth year, this bar crawl celebrates all things Mardi Gras in Cleveland's Warehouse District. Participating bars include Barley House, Velvet Dog and others. You'll receive a Mardi Gras mask and special drinking glass, and there will of course be beads at every bar. Get tickets here.

Balto's 100th birthday

What: You've seen the movie, now celebrate the real life Balto at his 100th birthday celebration. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will have a full list of events, including a junior Iditarod, dogs available for adoption and a special hero dog presentation. Learn more here

Demetri Martin

What: Ready to laugh? Quirky comic Demetri Martin brings his "Wandering Mind" tour to the Agora this weekend. Martin has starred in Comedy Central's "Important Things with Demetri Martin" and has written several books. Get tickets here.

Gone With The Wind

What: Quite frankly my dear, you'll want to grab tickets for this. To celebrate the movie's 80th anniversary, Cleveland Cinemas is holding special showings of "Gone With the Wind." Get tickets here.

When: Sunday 1 p.m.

Ice Wine Festival

What: Chill out at the 15th annual Ice Wine Festival in Geneva-On-The-Lake. Six wineries will offer ice wine samples and appetizers, and you can bring a canned food item for $1 off admission. Learn more here.

Kurentovanje

What: Head to the Slovenian National Home for this festival and parade centering on Slovenian culture. You'll see costumes and masks, dancing and more while you sample food and drinks and learn all about Slovenian heritage. Learn more here.

Mardi Gras Crawl

What: Join the fourth Mardi Gras bar crawl on the East Bank of Cleveland's Flats. You'll receive a passport for each participating location as you enjoy drink and food specials throughout the day, before the after-party at the Thirsty Dog. Get tickets here.

MIX: Bailemos

What: Dance your way through the Cleveland Museum of Art's monthly MIX event. This month's theme is Bailemos, meaning it's all about Latin American music, dance and art. Get tickets here.

When: Friday 6-10 p.m.

Shen Yun

What: See this exhilarating display of Chinese music and dance in a performance full of color and culture. Shen Yun has executed more than 500 performances across the globe. See gorgeous handmade costumes, hear the live orchestra and feel mesmerized by the athletic performers. Get tickets here.

USA Fencing March North American Cup
