CLEVELAND — It's that time again -- time for your weekly dose of nothing but good news stories, guaranteed to make you smile and brighten your day.
In this week's edition of "It's All Good (News!) With Stephanie Haney," we tell you about a Norwalk teen who is kicking for a cause. Tyler Perkins is a junior at Saint Paul High School. Perkins is the number six rated punter in the country. He held his own punt-a-thon recently, to raise money for his local food bank.
Then, a dog pound of a different kind. Northeast Ohioan Rocco Russo decided to have a bit of fun with the NFL Draft in town. He recorded a YouTube show for kids that featured dogs on two different teams, the Browns and the Steelers. Then, he pitted the two teams against one another to search for treats.
Next, a war of words between store owners in a small town in Virginia. They decided to have a sign war, by putting up snarky, sassy messages on their buildings.
Then, to Shaker Heights, where the police department's K9 officer Alan is celebrating his 9th birthday!
We also have the stories of two very spry men. One, a grandpa who can perform an impressive trick on the playground that is caught on camera. The second, a 97-year-old man who's training in preparation to run in a 12K race.
