'Walls of Love' spread message of love and warmth in Cleveland throughout winter

Making the world better, one person at a time

CLEVELAND — The bitter cold weather can be especially hard on the homeless, or those who don't have a lot of money.

So Cleveland resident Holly Jackson, once homeless herself, started what she calls the 'Walls of Love.'

Holly puts things like coats, hats, and gloves on fences around Northeast Ohio. She's hoping that others join her on the pay it forward crusade.

"I wanted to do something to give back and make sure there's not stigma to it," she explains. "Whoever needs it, can take it."

If you'd like to donate, you can contact Holly via email, Facebook or Instagram.

The drop off location is at the CLE Restaurant on 6120 Memphis Avenue.

NOTE: Please refrain from leaving garbage bags of items at the various 'Wall of Love' sites. As much as Holly appreciates the gesture, it is not allowed by the city.
