CLEVELAND — It’s back!
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's Wild Winter Lights event returns from Nov. 16 until Jan. 2. It transforms the zoo into a winter wonderland with more than one million lights.
Zoo officials say guests can experience the holiday event on foot or in their own vehicle.
Tickets are limited and advanced online reservations are strongly encouraged. Here are the ticket prices:
- Zoo members: $18 per person or a four pack for $54
- Non members: $20 per person or a four pack for $60
- Children ages 2 and younger: Free
- Drive-through experience: Zoo members pay $54 per vehicle; Non members pay $60 per vehicle

Wild Winter Lights runs from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. on select dates Thursdays through Sundays. The drive-through option will be available on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Highlights include carousel rides, costumed characters, model train displays, ice carvers, live music and a musical light show. Wild Winter Lights also features multiple themed areas, which include:
- Candyland
- Enchanted Forest
- Conservation Trail
- Santa’s Workshop where guests can take a photo with Santa Claus himself
“This year’s show promises a memorable holiday experience for everyone with both drive-through and walk-through options and festive fun for all ages," said Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer.
The Cleveland Zoo recently finished their Asian Lantern Festival.
