The Akron Children’s Museum is hosting a hands-on Halloween event for kids next Saturday, Oct. 30.

During the day, children will have the chance to fill up a passport given to them while visiting multiple interactive Halloween-themed craft stations. Stations available will include cookie designing, painting a Halloween scene, music, interactive play sessions, a photoshoot with "Dracula’s Daughter" and building cardboard cars for the indoor drive-in theater.

This event will also feature things for adults as well, including a Halloween canvas painting experience and the chance to knock out some early holiday shopping in the Monster Shop.

“ACM’s goal is to be the community’s go-to place for fun, learning, exploration, and memory-making,” said Traci Buckner, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum. “We welcome all families who want to be part of this magical day!  We are excited to offer multiple time slots throughout the day to provide safe distancing for all to enjoy.”
