Halloween horrors unleashed at Parma home: Welcome to ‘The Douglas Manor’

Home haunting has been taken to the extreme in Parma.

PARMA, Ohio — Lurking on Lincoln Avenue, you’ll find a Halloween display that’s big on scares.

Welcome to “The Douglas Manor.”

This highly decorated house features a free walk-through attraction overflowing with scene after scene of Halloween horrors that would make any trick-or-treater tremble in fear.

“I use about every inch of my entire back yard to do this," owner John Douglas said. "It is a small Parma lot, but you wouldn’t know it when you start walking through the maze. It usually takes most people about 10 minutes to go through the entire experience."

Want more scares? Douglas Manor ramps up the screams from Oct-24-27 as live actors are added to the experience from 7-10 p.m.

“Average night we get about 100 people or so. Last Halloween, we actually had 950 come through on Halloween night.”
