NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — As NBC’s Today prepares for its fan-favorite Halloween show, we’re getting a special sneak peek at what viewers can expect from the annual spooktacular.
“You know how much we love our Halloween show, it’s one of our favorites,” Hoda Kotb tells 3News’ Maureen Kyle. “But like everything this year, everything is a little different. We’re going to miss our plaza crowd, usually they’re packed out behind me.”
So instead, Today is going to have viewers help them celebrate the Halloween show in an entirely new way.
“So all next week as we count down to our own Halloween show, we are going to fill our virtual plaza with people showing off their fanfare, and we want to see Cleveland represented -- so get your costume ideas ready! Each day we’re going to choose one person or group with the best costume, and they’re going to be part of "My Today Plaza" on our special Halloween show on Oct. 30. We just want to sound the alarm. WKYC viewers sign up and get ready to celebrate!”

Today's Craig Melvin said they're really looking to feature somebody from Northeast Ohio.
"Bring it, Cleveland!" he said. "You always rock!"
