PENINSULA, Ohio — It's back! The North Pole Adventure on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad -- formerly known as the Polar Express -- is once again ready to take passengers on a magical ride this holiday season.
"The North Pole Adventure™ is not just an event; it’s your chance to step into the story and create moments your family will cherish forever. Whether you’re celebrating with children or rekindling your own holiday spirit, this experience will wrap you in the warmth and joy of the season," Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad officials stated in its release.
Tickets for the North Pole Adventure go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Tue. Oct, 1. CVSR members enjoy early access and can buy tickets now. Click HERE to place your order. Prices range between $50 and $95 depending on class of service and seating options.
The North Pole Adventure will run from Nov. 7 to Dec. 21 as passengers will depart Rockside Station in Independence for a "magical" 90-minute journey to the North Pole.
During the ride, passengers will be treated to "onboard entertainment featuring holiday music, merry elves, and letter writing to Santa." There will also be holiday cookies and hot cocoa, along with "a special gift for each child."
