CLEVELAND — America is set to celebrate its 248th birthday on July 4. In honor of Independence Day, many Northeast Ohio communities are holding celebrations, festivals, parades and fireworks. 

3News has compiled a list of events happening across the Greater Cleveland area broken down by county.

The City of Green will kick off the Fourth of July with a day of fun family activities, games, local food vendors, live music, skydivers and fireworks. The fireworks show will take place at 10:15 p.m.

Hudson will host a four-mile road race/walk on the Fourth of July. A two-mile option is available. Late registration (June 24-July 4) is $35.
