It's the most wonderful time of the year.
The Holiday CircleFest is returning to University Circle this Sunday.
Neighborhood museums, schools, and nonprofit organizations are welcoming guests of all ages for holiday exhibits, activities, performances and shopping.
The Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland History Center, and Cleveland Museum of Natural History will discount admission to $5 per person during the event.
Free outdoor activities at the Wade Oval will also get everyone into the holiday spirit:
- Noon-7:00 p.m. – Skate on the fresh ice at The Rink at Wade Oval (tickets must be reserved at universitycircle.org/rink)
- Noon-7:00 p.m. – Grab a bite to eat from one of Cleveland's famous food trucks
- Noon-6:00 p.m. – Officers from the University Circle Police Department will be on Wade Oval accepting donations for the Cops in the Community program. Proceeds will be used to purchase hats, gloves, and scarves for local school children.
- 1:00-7:00 p.m. – Shop for everyone on your list at the outdoor Holiday Market
- 1:00-7:00 p.m. – Enjoy a leisurely ride around Wade Oval in a horse-drawn carriage
- 1:00-7:00 p.m. – Take photos with Santa on RTA’s Holiday Trolley
- 1:00-5:00 p.m. – Listen to live music around Wade Oval
- 1:00-6:00 p.m. – Watch ice carvers transform solid blocks of ice into works of art at the top of each hour
A community lantern procession is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at The Cleveland Museum of Art and will make its way onto the Wade Oval.
Parking will be available at University Circle’s Ford Road Garage. Attendees can pre-pay for a spot using the Parkmobile app. Parking spots cost $8 and can be reserved up until midnight on Saturday, December 4.
