Valentine's Day will definitely be different this year, but these Cleveland restaurants are doing their best to make sure your date night is special.

CLEVELAND — Editor's note: Video at the top of this story was originally published on Dec. 12, 2020.

Is a romantic dinner on your agenda for Valentine’s Day? While that’s among the most common Feb. 14 traditions, some might be planning to celebrate a bit differently this year.

If you’re skipping plans to go out for a restaurant date because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are plenty of special takeout options you might want to consider.

“As with our other promotions that have taken place since the onset of the pandemic, we’ve had to shift gears a bit with Valentine’s Day,” said Myra Orenstein, President, CATV, Inc., acting as executive director of Cleveland Independents. “We believe that dinner can be romantic if the setting is right and, obviously, if one of our members’ dinners is being served.”
