Now may be your chance to adopt a furry friend for the summer!
The city of Cleveland's Division of Animal Care & Control will offer reduced adoption fees this weekend for 35 dogs who have been at its shelter the longest. The normal $61 fee will be just $21 from June 8-10.
Said Shelter Operations Manager Michelle Harvanek:
We have over 85 dogs up for adoption and more coming in every day. We are focusing on our longest residents because they are ready to go - they’ve all been spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated, so they can go home the day of adoption and don’t have to stay in the kennel awaiting surgery. They’ve also been patiently waiting for their chance with a loving family.
The other roughly 50 dogs can still be adopted for the normal fee. All available pups can be viewed at petango.com/cacc.
