Are you looking to add a furry friend to your family? This is the perfect weekend to do it!
That’s because pet adoption fees will be waived from June 3-4 at the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
“Due to a generous donation from the Ken Ganley Auto Group, adoption fees for adult dogs and cats will be waived and kitten adoption fees will be reduced to $50 between Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4,” officials announced in a press release.
Regular adoption fees are listed at $125 for adult dogs, $50 for cats and $125 for kittens.
“Now that we're entering the summer months, we will begin to see many more kittens available for adoption,” says Sharon A. Harvey, Cleveland APL President & CEO. “However, we also have lots of adult and senior animals who have been at the shelter longer than we would like and who deserve loving homes. We’re hoping that this adoption promotion will help raise awareness about animals who have been with us for months so they can put their best paws forward and go home with their new families. We are extremely grateful to the Ken Ganley Auto Group for providing the generous support that will help us to find loving homes for our longer-term residents. Stop by and adopt a pet this weekend!”
Anybody with questions about adopting a new pet should call the Cleveland APL at 216-771-4616.
The Cleveland APL is located at 1729 Willey Ave.
