CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protective League says its shelter is full — and the pet clinic is slashing adoption fees for one day only to find loving homes for more cats and dogs.
To celebrate the start of fall and "sweater weather," Cleveland APL is reducing adoption fees to $10 for adult cats and dogs and $50 for kittens.
The flash adoption special is valid only on Saturday, Sept. 21.
"Get ready for sweater weather by adopting a new furry friend just in time for fall," the shelter said in a post on Facebook. "Whether you’ve been looking for a playful kitten or a cuddly cat or dog, we have the paw-fect match for you!"
According to the poster advertising the promotion, dog adoptions include an additional license fee.
Cleveland APL, located at 1729 Wiley Ave. in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood, is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 12-4 p.m. on Sunday.
