Rescue Village, Geauga County's humane society, has a new director.
Kenneth Clarke has been chosen to lead the animal welfare agency.
Clarke comes to Rescue Village from VividFront, A Cleveland based award-winning digital marketing agency where he worked on a startup with the owner and other partners as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
Prior to working at VividFront, Clarke was Director of Strategic Initiatives at JumpStart Inc.
Clarke's resume includes spending more than two decades in executive leadership roles in the Midwest's leading nonprofit, educational, and cultural organizations including the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and serving as Director of Development at he Ohio State University.
Ken Clarke is a native of Northeast Ohio and currently lives in Bath, Ohio with his family which includes a rescue dog and a small flock of chickens.
Geauga County Humane Society's Rescue Village has been taking care of homeless animals and finding them homes for over three decades. Rescue Village is in Novelty, Ohio in a beautiful state of the art facility that offers pets for adoption, animal and humane educational events as well as community based programs that are designed to keep animals safe, healthy and in their own homes.
Rescue Village also cares for horses and livestock while they wait for new homes or are being rehabilitated until adopted.
