NOVELTY, Ohio — Rescue Village Geauga County's Humane Society has a new program where they will deliver food and other pet necessities to families that need help with feeding their pet and pet supplies.
The rescue will take their large transport van filled with pet food, leashes, pet bowls, pet toys, collars and more to areas of Geauga County where there is a higher number of families that need help in making ends meet, including caring for the family pet.
The shelter has partnered with Cardinal High School in Middlefield, and will be at Cardinal on the first and third Sunday of the month from 12-3 p.m. The van will be at Thompson Square every first and third Saturday of the month from 12-3 p.m.
The program will start Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Thompson, and will start at Cardinal High School in Middlefield on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
