RUSSELL, Ohio — Rescue Village, Geauga County's humane society, will hold their first virtual adoption event as part of the ASPCA and Subaru loves pets grant program.
Rescue Village's adoptable animals will be featured live on their Facebook page Thursday, October 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event allows views in real time to see the animals available for adoption.
Dog behavior coordinator, Will Zaslavsky will introduce the adoptable pets to views. He will provide and overview of each dog including their history, temperament and what kind of home they'd be best suited for as a pet.
Those tuning in to the Facebook Live will also meet those responsible for the animals care including Rescue Village's humane agent, barn managers and others staff members and volunteers.
Those featured will provide a behind the scenes look at the programs and servicers the shelter offers.
Rescue Village, located at 15463 Chillicothe Road, has been open by appointment only since March.
