CLEVELAND — It's a big day for Roxy!
Our Wags 4 Warriors service dog in training is celebrating her 6-month-old birthday!
After making her first live appearance on Channel 3 back in late January, Roxy has grown so much.
Roxy can be paired with a veteran anytime now.
"Right now, it's just looking for the right for her with a veteran," said Roxy's handler, Kayla DeLorenzo. Once she gets placed with a veteran she'll still go through more training."
What's the right fit?
"It's basically just like the lifestyle of the veteran and the kind of dog that we have. She has a lot of energy and she definitely needs someone that's going to exercise and do a lot with her."
