Roxy’s playful personality shines through in training to become Wags 4 Warriors service dog

'She’s just really crazy right now. She’s a lot of fun to be around.'

CLEVELAND — Roxy’s cute, fun, crazy personality is coming through as she continues to grow in her journey to become a service dog with Wags 4 Warriors.

“She’s extremely treat-motivated right now,” handler Kayla DeLorenzo says. “We use treats and praise to reinforce everything that she’s doing right now.”

DeLorenzo says Roxy absolutely loves going to training classes because “she knows she gets treats in there.”

But she’s still a puppy, which means lots of playful antics.

“Honestly, she’s just really crazy right now. She’s a lot of fun to be around.”

Roxy is joining us every week through the months ahead as we watch her progress before being paired with a veteran.
