CLEVELAND — Our girl Roxy is growing up so fast.
As she trains to become a Wags 4 Warriors service dog, her handler, Kayla DeLorenzo, says Roxy loves chewing on everything.
“Right now shoes are her favorite,” DeLorenzo says. “When she thinks that you’re not paying attention she sneaks over and tries to grab a shoe and runs back.”
It’s part of the teething process.
“Right now we’re just trying to focus on getting the teething out of the way so when she’s in class she’s good and focuses her attention on the toys instead of other dogs and other distractions.”
Roxy is joining us every week through the months ahead as we watch her progress into becoming a service dog.
