Unleashed Animal Rescue: Meet Jerry, a Lionhead rabbit available for adoption!

The nonprofit started by Lily Rose Lee has many rabbits up for adoption if you are looking for a furry friend.

NORTHFIELD, Ohio — We've been sharing with you the expansion of Unleashed Animal Rescue, the organization started by Cleveland kidnapping survivor Michelle Knight. Knight, of course, now goes by the name Lily Rose Lee.

The nonprofit is adding buildings and an enclosure to better meet the needs of surrendered animals. There's a lot of activity going on daily at the property, but the main focus continues to be finding forever homes for pets.

So, Lily Rose is introducing us to pets that are available for adoption. First up is Jerry!

Look at this cute, little, amazing, fluffy fur ball!" she told us as she held Jerry up to the camera. "He is a 3-year-old Lionhead bunny."

Lionhead rabbits are a smaller breed with a distinctive fluffy wool mane, similar to that of a male lion.

"He does come to you when you call him," Lily Rose explained. "He is very friendly. He loves kids. He does interact with a lot of different animals. He is also used to dogs, as well."

Jerry is just one of many bunnies up for adoption at Unleashed Animal Rescue. For adoption info, you can email contact@unleashedanimalrescue.org or call (216) 200-0398.
