BRIMFIELD, Ohio — Meijer is expanding in Northeast Ohio with two new locations set to open next month.
The new "supercenters" in Brimfield and Lorain will both debut at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 9.
“Each new store will follow mandated state requirements and guidelines regarding social distancing,” officials said in a press release. “Inside stores, safety decals will be on the floor where customers typically gather and protective shields are at every checkout station.”
The company said employees also receive daily health screenings and temperature checks.
Customers are asked to wear a mask.
The Brimfield store is located at 219 Tallmadge Road. The Lorain store is located at 5350 Leavitt Road.
Meijer opened new stores in Avon, Mentor and Stow last year. You can watch video from those openings last year in the player below.
