Winter blues? Here are 10 things you can do throughout Northeast Ohio in January

The top 10 events taking place this month.

CLEVELAND — The holiday festivities are finished and the decorations are being put away, but there is no need to hibernate this winter in Northeast Ohio! 

Here are 10 of the hottest events taking place this month: 

1. Fly down the slopes of Boston Mills. The Ski Resort is open from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. for skiers and snowboarders. 

2. Disney on Ice! Join Mickey Mouse and friends at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. From snow-covered Arendelle from Frozen to Aladdin's whole new world, catch all of your favorite Disney characters! The show runs Jan. 10-19. Tickets start at $15. 

3. Look forward to summer with the Cleveland Boat Show. From fishing boats to yachts, you'll find more than 400 boats on display at Ohio's oldest and largest boat show. The show runs Jan. 16-20 at the I-X Center. Tickets are $15. 

4. North Coast Harbor Ice Fest returns on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Take in the ice displays between the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The event is free to the public as well as entry to each of the museums. The event is Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

5. Uncorked Wine Festival is also taking place at the Great Lakes Science Center. More than 100 wines and champagnes will be on display. Tickets range from $50 for general admission to VIP tickets for $65. The event is Jan. 11.

6. Cleveland Winter Beerfest is back at the Huntington Convention Center! Choose from hundreds of craft beers from more than 120 breweries across the nation including your favorite Cleveland labels. Tickets, $45-$65. 

7. Snoop Dogg is coming to town! Drop it like it's hot with the Doggfather of Rap at the House of Blues on the 24th. The show is sold out, but tickets are available on second-hand sites. 

8. Catch the Jersey Boys at Playhouse Square. The show runs from the 21st to the 26th. 

9. Cleveland Monsters are in full swing. Games go all month long and this weekend the team will throw things back to the 90's. They will be wearing Lumberjack inspired sweaters.

10. Can't forget about the Cavs! They have games all month at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Teams coming into town include the Thunder, Timberwolves, Pistons, Bulls and Raptors.
