Cleveland's Better Business Bureau warns of new scam

Bogus emails are offering small business loans, grants or discounts on antiviral hand sanitizing products.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Better Business Bureau is warning people not to fall for emails from scammers claiming to the Better Business Bureau.

The bogus emails offer small business loans, grants or discounts on antiviral hand sanitizing products.

Local businesses have reported to the BBB that the title of the email they have recieved is: "BBB Exclusive".

The Cleveland Better Bureau never offers these services or products.

The Cleveland Better Business Bureau asks members to call them to verify any suspicious email at 216-241-7678.
