NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Two national fashion brands are coming to North Olmsted, with Great Northern Mall announcing the arrival of Daily Thread and Rainbow starting next month.
Daily Thread, a women's clothing brand, will take over a 3,100-square-foot space in Great Northern's Center Court near Bath & Body Works. The chain already has 101 locations nationwide, including in Akron, Mentor, New Philadelphia, Wooster, and Sandusky.
"We offer affordable fashion everyday with consistent newness in product that will bring you back multiple times a week. I have a team of fun and friendly associates to assist you," company President Carmen Wamre said in a statement released Tuesday. "You won’t find our level of customer service anywhere else in specialty retail."
Rainbow already boasts nine stores in Greater Cleveland and two more in the Akron-Canton area, with the latest set to take up 6,500 square feet of space in the Dillard's wing next to Aeropostale. The brand focuses on apparel for women and kids at "everyday low prices," as well as an array of different sizes.
Great Northern Mall is looking to recover after some high-profile departures, most recently Regal Cinemas in January. One of its anchor stores in Sears — the last of its kind in Ohio — also closed in 2020.
"We are thrilled to welcome Rainbow and Daily Thread to our premier mix of national apparel retailers," Dan Crandall, marketing and business development manager at the mall, said of the new shops. "These latest stores add to our growing list of new businesses at Great Northern in 2023 and we are excited to continue the momentum with even more announcements in the near future."
Daily Thread is set to open its doors on April 7, with Rainbow following soon after by the middle of the month.
