New revolving sushi bar in Polaris holds grand opening

All sushi plates are $3.40 each with other plate prices varying.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new restaurant has opened its doors in Polaris – this one features a conveyor belt that brings plates of sushi right to the customer’s table.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar held its grand opening for its 8833 Lyra Dr. location on Jan. 14 at noon, welcoming in its very first customers. This is the restaurant’s first Ohio location.

All sushi plates are $3.40 each with other plate prices varying. Customers can choose between crab, tuna, beef, salmon, shrimp, scallop, mackerel, yellowtail, conch, squid, sea bream, tamago and octopus Nigiri.

The restaurant also offers dozens of rolls, Norimaki, Gunkan, crispy rice, sashimi, ramen options and more. You can view the full menu here.

Special opening hours are noon to 9 p.m. on both Jan. 14 and Jan. 15.

The regular hours are as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday 11:30 AM - 09:00 PM
  • Friday 11:30 AM - 09:30 PM
  • Saturday 11:00 AM - 09:30 PM
  • Sunday 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM
