Which cars cost the most, least to repair?

Cars are expensive enough as it is.

Cars are expensive enough as it is.

When purchasing a new ride, consumers often forget about potential repair costs. Even cars with low sticker prices at the dealer can have surprisingly high repair costs.

Repair Pal created an Auto Service Cost Index to track repair costs of the most popular cars. The index tracks the average cost of the four most common car repairs: water pump, alternator, brake pad replacement and oil changes. The index, which used research from 2010 models, can also be filtered by four categories: compact, mid-size, SUV and luxury.
