CHARDON, Ohio -- The "biggest winner" for Friday May 15, 2015 is Midge.
All week we've been honoring local K-9 officers.
Midge has worked with the Geauga County Sheriff's Office for the past nine years. She works with Sheriff Dan McClelland.
Midge, considered the world's smallest police dog, is an eight pound Chihuahha Rat Terrier mix. She helps search jail cell blocks, lockers and cars during traffic stops.
Midge also teachers preschoolers about being a community helper and the dangers of strangers.
According to the Sheriff's Web site, Midge receives fan mail from as far away as Europe, China, South Africa and South America.
