St. Baldrick's Day: How shaving your head can help in the battle against cancer

Brave the shave!

CLEVELAND — It's an annual tradition around St. Patrick's Day: People shaving their heads to support the fight against cancer.

More than 100 doctors, nurses, researchers, patients, family members and friends will “shave it off” to raise funds for childhood cancer research at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital’s eighth annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving event Friday.

The event runs today from 7 a.m. til 6 p.m.
