Cleveland artist and entrepreneur Ray Jr. is set to release a new film this fall.
‘Rent Due’ follows two cousins as they struggle to come up with money for their rent after being robbed by strippers. The main characters Reggie and Top are played by Ray Jr. and William Dobbs.
On Tuesday, Jr. released the film's first trailer giving fans a look at its star-studded cast. The movie features comedians Haha Davis, B Simone, Shiggy, Landon Romano and Cleveland’s own wild boy, Machine Gun Kelly.
Following the trailer’s release, Kelly took to Twitter to express his excitement.
The film is being released under Jr.’s production company Legit Paper. Jr. also publish a book under the same moniker in April 2018.
“Rent Due” is directed by Mike Berry and will host private screenings in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Atlanta. The Cleveland screening premiere is scheduled for August 11 at Regal Cinemas in Richmond Heights.
