CLEVELAND — A Cleveland firefighter who was arrested three times in two days at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport faced a judge in the case Wednesday morning.
Battalion chief William Graham was found guilty after entering a no contest plea and fined $50 on each count.
"Unless you have a hold for something else, you should be released today," the judge said.
The city on Tuesday said Graham was arrested Tuesday just before noon for disorderly conduct at the airport. Graham was also arrested there Tuesday around 7:10 a.m. for disorderly conduct. He was taken to a local hospital after complaining of illness. The city says he made the same complaints Tuesday afternoon and was hospitalized again.
Graham was also arrested at the airport Monday around 1 p.m. for a similar incident.
In the first incident, Graham was removed from a JetBlue flight after the airline crew determined he was too drunk to fly. JetBlue says Graham was removed from the plane and rebooked for another flight. At that time, Graham "became disruptive in the gate area" and police were called, according to a statement from JetBlue.
Graham boarded another flight Tuesday morning after he was evaluated by JetBlue employees. Shortly after the plane was taxied for departure, Graham allegedly refused to follow safety instructions and caused a disturbance. The plane returned to the gate and police arrested Graham again.
Police have not provided details on the third incident.
Graham, a 30-year-veteran, has been placed on restrictive duty pending the outcome of his case.
