CLEVELAND — Friday marks National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
In Cleveland, Ricky Smith of R.A.K.E. is showing others how you can spread love throughout Northeast Ohio.
Smith says that we can all use more kindness and hopes that in Cleveland specifically, we can make an impact by spreading it.
"I think that we are great people, we are connected, which makes the city such a cool thing. Why not have a whole city doing kindness today?"
Smith has a whole day planned filled with acts of kindness, which will be a surprise to community members on Friday.
During the holiday season, R.A.K.E. partnered with WKYC Studios to give over 50 families toys, food, clothes and more to make for a memorable holiday.
