The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a shooting that left one dead and put a 33-year-old woman in the hospital Wednesday night.
According to officials, the incident began around 9:50 p.m. when officers were called to the 11700 block of Lenacrave Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found two victims shot in the head in a Polaris Slingshot. The male victim, a 36-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 33-year-old female victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and face, and is currently hospitalized at University Hospitals.
Cleveland police officials say an initial investigation revealed that the man had been driving and was backing into a driveway when the shots were fired.
Witnesses also said they observed two males running from the scene around the time of the shooting.
At this time, no suspects have been identified.
