Detectives with the Cleveland Division of Police are investigating today after a 19-year-old male was shot and killed early Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened in the 8100 block of Goodman Avenue around 1 p.m. and the man sustained at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen.
An initial investigation revealed that the victim, whose name has not been revealed, was shot by an unknown suspect. The 19-year-old victim was heard yelling for help after the shooting, according to police.
No arrests have been made at this time and Cleveland police have not named any suspects publicly. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at (216) 623-5464.
