The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating today after two fatal shootings within an hour.
According to police, the first shooting occurred around 5 p.m. in the 2700 block of East 117th Street when a 19-year-old was shot multiple times while seated in a vehicle.

EMS workers transported the male to University Hospitals Cleveland where he was later pronounced deceased.
The second shooting took place at Gunning Playfield in the 16700 block of Puritas Avenue. That's where, officials say, a 20-year-old male was gunned down. EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced the male dead.
No further information is available regarding either shooting.
Cleveland police officials did not indicate whether or not the shootings are believed to be connected.
