COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 20-year-old man wanted in connection to a fatal gas station shooting last week in north Columbus was arrested Saturday.
The Columbus Division of Police identified Abdulbasid Mohamed Ahmed, 20, as a suspect in the Shell gas station shooting that left 22-year-old Hassan Hassan dead on Monday.
According to police, the shooting happened at the Shell Gas Station on Cleveland Avenue, near Morse Road. When officers arrived, they found Hassan, who died at the scene.
Police say detectives identified Ahmed as the suspect in the shooting.
Ahmed has an arraignment scheduled for Jan. 9 at the Franklin County Municipal Court.
