28-year-old man fatally shot outside of club on Cleveland's west side

Officials are offering a cash reward up to $5,000 for information leading to a suspect in the shooting.

The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man. 

Officials responded the the 4300 block of Clark Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. on Thursday for reports of man being shot. 

At the scene, they located the victim, a 28-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to the chest as well as a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Officials provided aid until EMS arrived on scene to transport both victims to MetroHealth Hospital. While en route to the hospital, the 28-year-old was pronounced deceased. 

According to police investigators, a fight took place inside of the club and spilled outside. At that time an unknown man began shooting, injuring the two victims. 

A person of interest has not yet been identified. The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with any information on the incident is urged to contact  investigators at 216-623-5464. Anonymous information can be provided by calling CrimeStoppers at 216-25-CRIME and a cash reward of up to $5000 may be available.
