MANSFIELD, Ohio — Three people were shot, including one person who was killed, at a drive-thru in Mansfield, Ohio, on Thursday night.
According to Mansfield Police, officers responded to the M&S Drive Thru located at 753 Springmill St. at 11:06 p.m. after an employee of the business called to report a homicide. Upon arriving, officers found a 26-year-old man who was dead with a gunshot wound, as well as another 26-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his calf. Both victims were then transported to OhioHealth Mansfield.
As officers investigated the shooting, they then learned of a 24-year-old woman who had arrived at OhioHealth Mansfield suffering from a gunshot wound and was found to have been present at the drive-thru when the shooting took place but fled before officers arrived.
Crime detectives arrived on scene and are still working to determine who is responsible for the shooting. M&S Drive Thru posted security footage that shows a masked man entering the store on foot moments before several people flee outside.
"Suspect from last night's shooting," the drive-thru wrote. "If anyone knows anything, contact [Mansfield Police Department]."
