CLEVELAND — Police in Maple Heights are searching for a vehicle of interest after at least three people were shot on Monday afternoon.
According to a release, the Maple Heights Police Department responded to Garfield Avenue at 12:15 p.m. on Monday regarding a call that somebody had been shot in the head. Upon arriving on the scene, officers found two victims, who received first aid and were transported to the hospital, where they are still under treatment.
An initial investigation revealed that there may have been more victims who already left the scene before the police's arrival, with one victim later being discovered at the hospital. Currently, there are three known victims of the shooting, with police noting that there may be other currently unknown victims who suffered injuries.
Authorities identified a silver GMC Yukon with tinted windows as a vehicle of interest in the incident.
