CLEVELAND — A 3-year-old boy is in critical condition after reports of a shooting on the city's east side on Tuesday evening.
Cleveland Division of Police officials say officers responded to a call from the 7200 block of Carson Avenue at approximately 7:00 p.m. Preliminary information indicates that it is possible that the shot came from inside of the home as a result of individuals handling a gun.
No arrests have been made. This matter remains under investigation.
The child was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center via EMS. The child suffered multiple gunshot wounds including to the butt and foot.
