CLEVELAND — A woman died early Sunday morning in downtown Cleveland after a car struck her and fled the scene according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
The incident happened near the 1300 block of West 9th Street at approximately 2:26 a.m. The woman has since been identified as 30-year-old Elyse Bodee in a GoFundMe set up by her family.
Cleveland police have yet to confirm any additional details about the suspect or the victim.
The incident remains under investigation.
