SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — The Fairlawn Police Department responded to a call of an active shooter at Summit Mall just before 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers say they searched the area and did not find any victims, suspects or witnesses who could confirm that a shooting took place.
