ATF offering $1,000 rewards for information on arsons set during May 30 riots in downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering multiple $1,000 rewards for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for arsons set during the May 30 riots in downtown Cleveland.

The ATF is seeking information related to the arsons at several locations, including: Barrio on Prospect Ave.; Dollar General downtown; PNC Bank and The Schofield Hotel on East 9th Street; two Shaia’s Parking Kiosks on West 3rd Street;  and arsons to government vehicles on Ontario Street and Lakeside Avenue.

The bureau is working in conjunction with the Cleveland Division of Police, the Cleveland Division of Fire, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office, the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Northern District of Ohio U.S. Attorney’s Office to find and prosecute the alleged arsonists.
